The Lamb Tavern
The Lamb Tavern, located in Leadenhall Market in the City of London is a great place for a fun and informal wedding. You can even shop for last-minute wedding gifts in the city.
At The Lamb Tavern, you can have a vibrant pub wedding with some great food, paired with delicious wine and craft beers. The pub doesn’t charge a venue fee, so all you need to think about is the food and drink. When it comes to photos, you can have Leadenhall Market as your backdrop, with its cobbled streets and Victorian roofs.
Kew Gardens
Kew Gardens in Richmond is a beautiful place to get married. You can say “I do” in the largest Victorian glasshouse in the world, under the canopy of tropical palms, giant ferns. You will even have 10,000 endangered and rare plants as your wedding guests. If you want a more intimate wedding, you can hold your ceremony in the Cambridge Cottage, before having photos taken out on the lawns.
Kew Gardens is also popular for Asian weddings, and the Temperate House can host up to 230 guests, for dinner, drinks and dancing, and has a capacity for up to 400 for a standing reception. There isn’t a more perfect place than Kew Gardens for your wedding photos, and you will have 300 acres to choose from.
ZSL London Zoo
A wedding venue doesn’t get any more unusual than this, and at London Zoo, you can certainly have a big day to remember. London Zoo has venue spaces for between 45 and 260 guests that are available all year round. Of course, you can combine seeing the animals with your celebration – you could enjoy your canapes in the Tiger Territory, or have a glass of bubbly whilst watching the penguins.
The zoo also offers animal encounters and experiences as part of the wedding packages too. Once you have said your vows, you can have a three-course sit-down meal at the zoo, or a more informal barbecue menu, followed by a fun disco with a professional DJ.
