Manchester-based Manière De Voir have announced they have signed a 10 year lease for their first physical store, at 354 Oxford Street in London, an area renowned for shopping. With an estimated nine million tourists flocking to Oxford Street per year, the estimated footfall of 72,700 visitors a day will only increase MDV’s global profile and status.
The move highlights the brands intent to continue their remarkable growth as a fashion brand, and the decade long lease shows how confident they are with the move into retail. No doubt there will be envious glances from their rivals as London’s main shopping hub is the busiest in Europe and the store will have 86 foot gross frontage to catch the eye of the international tourists.
The flagship store is at the 5,189 square foot retail unit Oxbourne House is located above Bond Street Tube station, with the new Elizabeth line expected to bring record numbers of visitors in 2023.
With no opening date as yet confirmed, the brand website is still currently the only place you can buy Maniere de Voir clothing and accessories.
Who are Maniere de Voir?
MDV is a UK streetwear clothing brand started by Reece Wabara, a former England U20 and Manchester City Footballer. In 2014 he got together with Benjamin Francis and Lewis Morgan of Gymshark who grew up together in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
